"It's month 8 since I've stopped dancing I feel wonderful first Sunday with the hubby and family. I pray you have a wonderful Easter. Thankyou!"
A Conversation with a bartender
As I greeted the bartender (which I do each time), he said immediately,
“Joyce, there are not a lot of girls here,” acting like he was disappointed for me.
I replied, “Well, I’ll encourage those that are here. May I still go in?” “Yes, of course.” “Thanks.”
The 1st immediately said, “Hello….I’ve been in the hospital.” She was frightened and we prayed. The 2nd said, “I got an acting part; I want to move to LA, but I got married last week in Vegas. I make more money than my husband and he doesn’t like it.”
She trusts me but we haven't gotten to talk deeper yet. She did mention she was free on the day of the bibkee study this week.
The 3rd girl was new. After my introduction and my purpose for being there, she said as she lowered her head, “My boyfriend is a Christian, and so are his parents.”
Whatever that means was not the focus. I went immediately to her needs and what Jesus feels about her.
Thank you for your prayers and support.
To God be the glory!
A prayer from a Partner
May God bring freedom to many through your ministry. Joyce. Jesus said, "I come to bind up the broken-hearted, to set the captives free, to heal the sick ... and to give beauty for ashes and the oil of joy for mourning." This is my prayer, oh Lord, for women captive by and through the sex trades throughout the world. May Joyce be anointed to accomplish your goals in and through her ministry.
